I'm turning 65? How do I get my Medicare Card?
Enrolling into Medicare can be done online, over the phone with an appointment with Social Security, or at the local Social Security office also with an appointment. For more guidance on timelines and qualifications please call me directly.
How do I get the most out of my Medicare plan? Are there value added services available at no cost?
Yes! A review of your plan by a Licensed sales agent like myself can ensure that you are getting the most benefits from your plan.
When retiring from an employer plan after age 65, what is the correct process for enrolling into Medicare Part B?
This special election requires approved forms to be completed by you and your employer and submitted to the local Social Security office. Please call for forms and instructions.
Many people are changing plans from Medicare Supplements to Medicare Advantage because of Premium increases. Should I change?
Every Medicare situation is different. No case is ever the same. Yes, there are 5-star PPO plans that are offering comprehensive benefits that may compare. To schedule a transparent comparison please call!
Working with a Licensed Sales agent can be overwhelming. What questions should I ask?
Ask how many years experience the agent has. Also ask what companies they represent and services they provide. I have over 20 years experience assisting and serving clients. No cost or obligation. Please call 412-519-6440
What’s my share of the costs for Medicare covered services.
Medicare does not cover the total cost of medical services or supplies. Having an agent explain the difference between Medicare Supplements vs Medicare Advantage is highly advised. Please call me for more information.
How do I know if I’m in the right Medicare Advantage plan?
Many factors determine which plan is right for you, such as whether you need extra help, medical assistance, if you are a veteran, or if you have a chronic illness. Many companies offer plans that specialize in providing additional benefits. Please call to check your plan and eligibility.
Can I have 2 Medicare Advantage plans at the same time?
No. The new plan you enroll into will automatically cancel out the original plan. Not all plans offer the same benefits. They should be reviewed and compared with a Licensed sales agent.
How do I know if I’m talking to an authorized Medicare Licensed sales agent?
All calls with a Medicare Licensed sales agent must be recorded to protect you. All Medicare Licensed sales agents will have a NPN (National Producer Number) that identifies them. It’s always good to talk with a Licensed sales agent to get information on all products.
Can I get a review of my current Medicare plan without changing companies or plans?
Yes, making sure you understand all your plan benefits and how they work is the most important service I provide. There is never a cost or obligation. Please call 412-519-6440 for a review.
If I’m not happy with my Medicare Advantage Part C plan can I still make a change? Yes! Medicare allows one change between Jan 1st and March 31st. Your coverage would be effective the first of the following month. Please call to see if you qualify!
